Counselling is a process where a client meets with a professional to speak about the issues and concerns which they are experiencing. The counsellor/psychotherapist provides a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space for the client to tell their story. The counsellor works with the client so that they can better understand themselves, work through their issues, and make the changes which they want to make in their life.
Being able to talk to someone who is professionally trained at listening can make all the difference.
